Sample resolution for city council to draft re: the overturning of Citizen’s United vs. the F.E.C. – Will workgroup to forums.
Drew made contact with Dick Durbin’s office to attempt to get assistance for a homeless person the group cam into contact with on the plaza. They were unable to provide more than googled phone numbers for local shelters, etc.
AJ informed us that working groups for Occupy The Midwest are being formed and that he would post information re: this on the Facebook group.
Discussion of the group becoming some type of PAC. Decided that such discussion should be made known to OSI members ahead of time before a GA which can have larger attendance for such a large decision. Also discussed finding an “expert” of some sort to help with this decision.
