John Hanlon, J.D. lends his education and experience to facilitate Occupy Springfield, IL.’s Teach-In on the conviction of innocent Americans due to the inherent flaws of our justice system’s approach, as well as the conditioned fear of the American public towards people/ideologies/circumstances with which they are unfamiliar/uneducated.

Dr. Richard Gilman-Opalsky (author of the book “Spectacular Capitalism”) begins Occupy Springfield, IL’s group discussion on Revolution and Insurrection with the passionate reading of a piece he wrote for a publication called “Left Curve.” Dr. Gilman-Opalsky discusses the historical significance of the movement at hand, and unleashes a philosophical “can of worms” by suggesting that the corruption it stands against relates to the very core of our economy in Capitalism itself.
